 Daily Show host Jon Stewart, who berated Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney for "making more in one day that the median American family makes in a year." Unfortunately, Stewart makes almost as much as Romney. As host of The Daily Show, Stewart makes $15 million per year, on which he would pay about 30 percent in taxes to Romney's 15 percent tax rate. However, Stewart is also estimated to have a net worth of $80 million, meaning, if you factor in his investment income from that, he probably makes the same if not more than, Romney.



AND THEN THERE'S .....

Nancy Brennan, executive director of Rose Kennedy Greenway, a Boston non-profit, who intended to send her publicist an e-mail about how to avoid revealing her six-figure salary to Herald reporters. Instead, she sent it to a Boston Herald reporter. That did not make her look good. Now, State Rep. Bradley Jones is calling for an official investigation of the books to see how taxpayer dollars are being spent.



OR, HOW 'BOUT .....

Bay Area tourists who keep trying to get past Alcatraz tour guides to find a fictional room seen on the "Alcatraz" TV show. A National Parks Service spokeswoman said that even though the series "Alcatraz" has only just begun to be shown on TV, a throng of visitors have already disobeyed instructions to stay on the marked paths in a quest for the hidden room that doesn't exist.
